Quoted here, Bharti Airtel, india’s leading telecom operator has nearly reached 100 million or 10 crore customers.
A present the urban –rural share in the above number is 50-50.
[ Thus Half of the current Airtel customers are from villages.]
The company predicts that in the next 100 million or 10 crore customers, the rural share will increase to 75 percent of the total new additions.
