FriendFeed Launched Real-Time Search

By Mani Raj

FriendFeed launched a real-time search feature today. Now you can enter a search term and see the results appear instantly on the top of your screen in real-time.

You don't need to click the refresh button over and over (like in the past) to see the new results. Now you can even embed a real-time search on your own website or blog.

You can perform search across only your friends lists or the whole of FriendFeed. It also includes imported services like blogs and Twitter accounts.

FriendFeed is also working on allowing its users to subscribe to saved searches and the choice to add them to their friend lists. You'll also be able to get notifications based on search keywords.
