Global mobile broadband spending for 2010

According to Reuters quoting telecoms industry body GSMA-- Mobile operators worldwide will be seen investing up to $72 billion in wireless broadband technologies this year to accommodate surging demand. The operators are expected to earmark about half of capital expenditure in mobile infrastructure for investments in mobile broadband, an overall increase of about 15 percent compared with 2009.

North America________$19 billion
Europe______________$14 billion
