Gigabyte S1080 Unveiled In Taiwan: A Windows 7 Tablet

Gigabyte has unveiled in Taiwan, a Windows 7 tablet, the new S1080. The tablet is targeted at business users.



Specs:


1) Weighs under 0.90kg or 900 grams, is sleek and light

2) Powered by a dual core Atom N550 processor

3) Runs Windows 7

4) Has a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The multi-touch display features the Windows 7 on-screen keyboard and handwriting recognition software

5) Features a couple of tactile mouse buttons on one edge and an optical mouse on the opposite side for thumbs-only operation for those who like the feeling of a conventional PC

6) 320GB of built-in storage

7) A USB 3.0. Instead of an HDMI connection

8) Has a VGA port which allows users to connect it to an external monitor

9) Has a 1.3 megapixel webcam

10) Connectivity options include: 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, SD card reader and ethernet port.

Price & Availability: Gigabyte S1080 is expected to cost less than $300 and will go on sale in February. --------
