Huawei has unveiled , the IDEOS X3 smartphone, on Android 2.3 Gingerbread at WMC 2011.
Aimed at helping users communicate and engage in social networking, the phone has a 3.2-inch capacitive HVGA touchscreen with (320x480)px resolution and 3.2 megapixel camera. It’s the thinnest device in the 3.2 inch screen range; and weighs in at 115g.
Ideos X3 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor, 512M memory. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: HSDPA 7.2Mbps; UMTS900/2100M; Bluetooth, A2DP and Micro USB 2.0.
Courtesy the 2.3 Gingerbread, the phone features a refined user interface making the smartphone easy to navigate, more intuitive and more power-efficient. It allows contains the Huawei handset over-the-air and online upgrade (HOTA) for the Android platform.
Price and Availability: Huawei IDEOS will be available in mid 2011 and will retail for under $200 (Rs 9000).
