Blackberry users in India, will be getting the chance to extend their brand loyalty in the next 15 days, as RIM has announced that it will launch their tablet-'Playbook' in India on June 22nd. RIM is likely to sell the tablet at around Rs 32,000 for the base model.
Despite getting a bad press on recalling 1000 Blackberry Playbooks recently, after they found a fault with the OS, Research In Motion (RIM) sold over 2,50,000 Playbooks, comfortably outselling the Motorola's flagship tablet Xoom, which runs Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).
RIM Playbook comes with a 1 GHz processor and supports flash and HTML5; something absent in Apple iPad.
