iPhone Controlled Glass Harp

Many among us may have tired to create a melodious music by tapping at the rim of a glass tumbler. But in the absence of "music knowledge" the sound we manage to create is a cacophonous effort.

But, if you are Geek, then you can create a little melody. Only thing is, you have to use your Geekiness:

Igor Brkić made a special glass harp rig that's controlled by a phone app.

The ensemble has a wine glass filled with water, revolving a motor. A balloon, controlled by the iPhone App, dips to different depths inside the glass. And music is created, by changing frequency at which the glass vibrates.



The music was not melodious? Don't bother. Music is for musicians; the idea is for the Geeks. --------
