That's the Kodak smartphones and tablets will be feature rich and towards the higher price band. Although they will be simple to use. According to various rumors circulating online, the Kodak android devices will come pre-loaded with bespoke image capture and efficient sharing.

According to some reports, Kodak has collaborated with the England-based Bullitt Group, the one behind the rugged CAT smartphones.

Waterproof, ultra-slim Sony Xperia Tablet Z launched
Yes you don't carry the tablet inside a Swimming pool. But some people do take their tablets to bathrooms. That said, Sony today launched the Xperia Tablet Z, a 10.1-inch Android tablet, which is water proof. And dust proof as well.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z, was showcased in February at mobile World Congress at Barcelona this year.

Sony Xperia tablet Z is ultra Thin, and ultra light (the slimmest and lightest tablets launched so far) but feels robust.

Sony also announced that its flagship smartphone, Xperia Z will start shipping from March 1.

Sony Xperia Tablet z Accessories: Just like Apple, Sony will be bringing a range of accessories for the tablet, which include a charging cradle, an LCD Screen Protector and Leather Carrying Cover that comes in Black, White or Red. Like Apple, the buyer will have to pay extra money.

HP unveils Slate 7: Its first Android tablet

HP, hours back, unveiled Slate 7: Its first Android tablet. The price of Slate 7 is $169, and will compete with entry level 7-inch tablets.

In 2011, HP's TouchPad tablet — based on Palm's webOS operating system—didn't able to make its mark in the market. Earlier HP experimented with Windows-based tablets, but with no success.

More recently, HP chose to be with Windows 8 with the ElitePad tablets(targeted at Business users) and the convertible Envy x2, a PC with a removable slate.

With Slate 7 (targeted at consumers), HP has entered into the Android market. Showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Slate 7 weighs 13-ounce (325 grams) and is arriving in U.S. in April.

Slate 7 Specs:

1) 7-inch display with a modest (1024 by 600px resolution) display (same as the original Kindle Fire)
2) Runs on Jelly Bean 4.1 Android
3) Powered by dual-core ARM processor
4) Two cameras, a rear 3-megapixel camera and a VGA front camera

6) Battery lasts for 5 hours (unimpressive).

Unveiled ! Archos 97 Titanium HD Android Tablet

French consumer electronics maker, Archos, has just unveiled its upcoming Apple ipad challenging tablet -- the Archos 97 Titanium HD with Retina Display.

The Archos 97 Titanium HD, which runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, sports a 9.7-inch IPS display (same as ipad4) with a 2,048 x 1,536 resolution. The tablet is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core A9 processor and a Quad-core GPU Mali 400 MP4. The Tablet has 1GB RAM and an 8GB internal memory (extended further 64 GB via MicroSD card support).

The Archos 97 Titanium HD tablet has two cameras -- a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Connectivity Options include: Wi-Fi

Amazon posted the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on pre-order, last month, but has to remove the listing soon, possibly on Samsung's orders.

But this time Preorders for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 have actually arrived.

Retailer J&R has put Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on pre-order with a $499.99 price tag for the Note 10.1 16GB, and $549.99 for the Note 10.1 32GB.



But sadly, the retailer hasn't disclosed when the tablet will be in stock.
