Battlefield 3' limited edition with pre-order bonuses unveiled for US and UK Gamers
A Good news for gamers in the US and UK. Electronic Arts has announced a limited-edition version of Battlefield 3 along with retailer-specific pre-order bonuses in the US and UK. Notably, Battlefield 3 is an upcoming game, which will be launched on October 25 in North America(Xbox360, Playstation3, PC) and October 28 in Europe; alongside the linked novel Battlefield 3: The Russian, written by former SAS operator Andy McNab.

How to buy:

Electronics Arts has distributed bonuses to a slew of retailers. All a gamer has to do is, pre-order the Battlefield 3 game from that retailer whose bonus appears most luring to him. Below are the retailers and the bonuses they are offering, along with the Battlefield 3 game:

Gamers in US can Pre-orders for the game through Gamestop; while those in UK can do so at Game and Gamestation. The buyers will receive the Physical Warfare Pack, which includes three exclusive weapons: the type 88 light machine gun with bipod, the SKS sniper rifle flash suppressor and armour-piercing flechette ammo for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun.

Amazon UK and Best Buy will offer the SPECACT Kit, which unlocks eight multiplayer skins for players to customise their appearance.

Play.com and Amazon US will offer an exclusive set of dog tags for multiplayer.

All pre-orders will automatically be upgraded to the limited-edition version of Battlefield 3 which includes the standard game and early accesses to the Back to Karkand DLC map pack.

Battlefield 3 Facebook page closing towards One million Likes
The official Battlefield 3 Facebook page, has some luring content for gaming enthusiasts, that’s why the page has already raked in 8,52,429 ‘Likes’. Motivated by the pace at which the page is inching towards 1 million ‘likes’ milestone; the makers have announced that a bonus video/trailer of the upcoming game will be unlocked complete with producer’s commentary, once the page gets 1 million Likes. From the current pace, we expect it get the milestone on 21 or 22 April.

The new Battlefield 3 game has been developed by DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE), a wing of EA who are incidentally publishing and help market the game.

Battlefield 3 is expected to start selling not earlier than November 2nd 2011.
