Although Google leads the search market with 72 out of every 100 searches; But when it comes to music, Apple, is the leader. According to NPD Group , Apple commands 70 percent of digital music download sales in the United States.
While Apple has no presence in online search (yet), both Microsoft and Google are competing with Apple on the rapidly growing mobile platform -- Google with Android and Microsoft with the new Windows Series 7.
