The Samsung Galaxy Tablet P1000 could debut as soon as next month. The tablet will be competing with Apple ipad. South Korea’s JoongAng Daily reports the small Samsung tablet computer may be unveiled next month at a Berlin technology trade show. If early rumors are to be believed, it will have a 7-inch screen, making it smaller than the 9.7-inch iPad screen and possibly more mobile.
The Android-based Samsung Galaxy P1000 is expected to have some impressive specs, including an AMOLED display (which Samsung claims is superior to the iPad IPS LCD screen in some ways), 1 GHz processor, rear and front-facing cameras (both of which the first-generation iPad lacks) and WiFi/GPS connectivity.
No word on price yet.
